About David
I love empowering people and watching them succeed.

In 2005, I served in the Peace Corps as an education volunteer in Sichuan, China, where I taught and trained over 800 college students how to conquer standardized exams (i.e., LSAT, GMAT, and MCAT), rock interviews,

and obtain jobs at Fortune 500 companies. Since then, I founded a non-profit organization, worked for education consulting, attended law school, taught as a faculty member at universities, served as the interim-CEO of one of the world's largest education companies, and managed student exchange between Asia and the US. I've been blessed to have taught and inspired tens of thousands of people over the years, from all walks all over the globe.

My purpose in life is to teach and make a dent on the education universe. And I believe it always starts with one student at a time - and hopefully the next student is you.

Why I Started This Company
During the summer of 2009, I was sitting at my desk at the most prestigious law firm in Silicon Valley (Wilson Sonsini Goorich & Rosati), and yet my job satisfaction level was at an all time low.

70% of my waking hours was spent living other people's dreams. I was only doing what I loved by night. I felt like batman. The only event I looked forward to was secretly teaching the LSAT in the evenings.

However, I also had a problem with the "one-size fits all" teaching models employed at virtually every national LSAT prep company out there. Their classes were ineffective. I knew I can do it better than them.

So I stopped working for both the big firm and the mass marketing LSAT prep company. The overachieving teacher/entrepreneur in me wouldn't have any of it. I booked a one-way ticket to Chicago and established LSAT Sensei, which to this day is the fastest growing and hands down the best LSAT company in Chicago.

Teaching the LSAT | My LSAT Bio
"Since 2002, David has been continuously teaching LSAT prep, and he firmly believes that anyone can do well on the test (as long as the person's IQ is higher than Forrest Gump's).

He is perhaps one of the most effective and highly regarded LSAT instructors in the world. David earned his JD from the University of Chicago Law School. In addition to acing the LSAT, he helped countless students achieve top test scores and write their way into their dream schools. He is a gifted instructor who is well recognized for his charismatic, upbeat and inspirational style of teaching, and has received numerous teaching accolades.

Over the years, he has trained and groomed instructors that teach at national test prep companies and tutored the LSAT around the globe to more people than just about anyone else. In short, this guy knows the test inside-out, and if he can't help you, then no one can.

His unique brand of optimism and instructional clarity will do quite the charm for your LSAT score. Lessons with him are more entertaining than any other educational experience you've had. He'll inspire you, dazzle you, and help you ace the LSAT faster and quicker."
