The Sensei Difference
Others wish they had our results and stats
For over 15 years, LSAT expert and the University of Chicago Law School graduate David has been tutor, coach, and advisor for students from all over the world. A recognized authority on the psychology of test taking and peak performance, he has been honored consistently for his strategic intellect and educational endeavors.

What began as a Peace Corps Volunteer’s desire to help make a dent on "global education" has grown into a lifelong crusade to raise next generation leaders. He is called on by schools, education leaders, and LSAT students from every walk of life - political activists, advocates for humanity, CEOs of startups, investment bankers, management consultants, non-profit leaders, teachers, athletes, entertainers, and parents.

He is disrupting the entire test prep industry with his upbeat style, irreverent fun and highly effective methods that produce shocking and enviable results: the average score increase among LSAT Sensei's private tutoring students is 17 points -  at least 150%, in some cases 350%, higher than the average score increase boasted by the mass-market prep courses out there. No amount of books, classes, or technology can replace the careful attention to detail, expertise, and inspiration that David brings to each student, one-by-one.

The Sensei Experience
The big companies can't beat what we have to offer
From this point forward, you will consider me your surrogate older brother. My students have my cell phone number and my personal email address, and I encourage them to contact me anytime. I don't care if it's 2AM, as long as it's LSAT or law school related , they call me - I'll pick up!

Sensei literally means: "first born." If you have siblings, then you're familiar with the idea of first-borns being the guinea pigs of the family. You should also know that a loving and caring older brother takes good care his younger sibling. This usually results in the younger sibling succeeding above and beyond the older brother's level of success.

The biggest difference between LSAT Sensei and everyone else is that our LSAT experts coach you and care about you as though you are their siblings. We have already walked ahead on the path that you are traveling along. We have the knowledge and experience to raise you up high and above even our own level of success.

The F.U.N. Strategy
Non-cognitive skills that build happy, confident, focused test takers
A "sensei" has to have much more than simply knowledge and technique. There needs to be a huge element of respect and humility involved, as well as the uncanny ability to produce joy, confidence and focus from within the student.

The prep industry tries to convince students that the test is hard, bordering on impossible, but the secret truth about the LSAT is that it’s actually easy and fun! Our students are some of the brightest, hardest working people we've ever met. Our job is simply to demonstrate an expert approach to the test. Once they see us do a couple dozen logic games or logical reasoning questions on the board, they realize that it’s really just a series of baby steps, and that they’re plenty smart enough to master it. Students start out saying “wow, he/she makes it look easy.” Soon, they say “oh, I see, the LSAT actually is easy.”
