The Sensei Team
At LSAT Sensei we offer personalized LSAT prep with refreshing openness and enthusiasm. Our particular brand of joy is infectious. We will show you how to have fun with the test, leading to dramatically increased scores. If you don't attack the test, you're letting the test attack you. We prepare our students not just for the LSAT, but for the entire journey to (and through) law school. If you are serious about doing well on this test, look no further. Preparing for this exam could be a lot more fun than you think.

Listed below are LSAT Instructors and staff who coach you to become disciplined, focused, and prepared on-time to crush the exam.

Lin Z
Northwestern Law School
LSAT Score: 177

Picture
Lin firmly believes if Snooki from Jersey Shore can have a baby, you can do well on the LSAT. Unlike Snooki’s pregnancy, doing well on the LSAT usually requires hard work and can most definitely be a pleasant experience.

After graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics, Lin worked for three years in different law firms on both the plaintiff’s and defense side. After much hard work of her own and with the guidance of LSAT Sensei, Lin scored a 177 on the LSAT. She firmly ascribes to and believes in the methods of LSAT Sensei in helping you to reach your LSAT goals.

Lin also loves distance running and improv comedy. She firmly believes that if anyone instituted an Olympic event for slow power-walking, she would have eight million gold medals like Michael Phelps. She also enjoys watching the Bachelorette (thumbs up to 25 spray tanned dental assistants competing for one woman’s heart!) and has the commendable goal of trying every cupcake shop in Chicago (go try More cupcakes, do it!).

Cora T
University of Chicago
LSAT Score: 176

Picture
Cora doesn’t like the North - in no way does it resemble the warm climate of Dixieland from which she hails. To cope with the frigid temperatures of Chicago’s April afternoons, she locks herself in her law firm’s office downtown and does logic games - making sure that Kwame CAN be on the same flight as Leona as long as MacKenzie isn’t there.

Her speedy and accurate reading got her a 176 on the LSAT. Though her impractical degrees in Anthropology and East Asian Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago don’t help her in “real world”, her Montessori teaching experience and her education equip her with the tools to help you achieve an excellent LSAT score - the LSAT Sensei way!

David S
UPenn Law School
LSAT Score: 170

Picture
As an undergrad at the University of Chicago, David was active member of an orchestra that he created. He loves music THAT much. As an avid runner, he seems to enjoy a certain amount of self-inflicted punishment. Some dub it as discipline, but others call it plain insanity. Whatever the adjective used to describe David, it's never boring or soft. Everything about David is alive and intense.

This is perhaps why he slam-dunked a solid 170 on his LSAT, and received a near full-ride scholarship to several of our nation's most prestigious law schools. Ultimately, he chose UPenn Law after only 2-seconds of deliberation - a testament to his mental alacrity. He wants his students to rock the LSAT and he knows how to help folks achieve their LSAT goals.

Bram S
Columbia Law School
LSAT Score: 172

Picture
Apple Store, Google, and Vermont. What all three places have in common is that they were all, once upon a time, places Bram worked at and called home. Brilliant yet laid back, Bram is the epitome of what we like to call 'balanced gentlemen.' He has an uncanny ability to make everyone and anyone around him feel comfortable. His friendly demeanor will instantly disarm your social shield and vanquish any low self-esteems.

A Columbia Law student, Bram can be found in NYC or Brooklyn.

Charles D
Yale Law School
LSAT Score: 179

Picture
Charles graduated from Princeton. He's heading to Yale Law School. This officially makes him one of the smartest men on the planet. But one dose of Charles and you'll quickly come to realize that this man is all heart and care. As smart as he is, he is also the most down to earth people you will ever come across.

Charles is very patient and methodical in his approach. Everyone enjoys his sense of humor and clarity.

Lindsey K
NYU Law School
LSAT Score: 170

Picture
Lindsey is a student at the University of Chicago – a place where more often than not fun comes to die. On the bright side, UChicago was voted as the school that most resembles Hogwarts. She took the LSAT this past October, after taking LSAT Sensei’s two month long class with David, and scored a 170. She firmly believes that the methods taught by LSAT Sensei can help anyone reach a higher LSAT score.

In her free time, Lindsey enjoys doing logic games, running (if you need advice about running in sub-zero temperatures, she’s your girl), cooking, and watching an unhealthy amount of reality TV.

Calvin L
UPenn Law School
LSAT Score: 172

Picture
A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu master, Calvin isn't afraid of getting into both physical and mental locks and holds. He rather enjoys such challenges (both physical and mental). Possessing a drill sergeant style of teaching, Calvin is simultaneously feared yet loved by his students. We don't exactly understand how and why, but his students seem to enjoy getting a can of "intellectual whoop ass" from him.

Calvin will be attending....(wait for it)....UPenn Law this fall. He's stoked to be an Ivy Leaguer.

Mike L
Northwestern Law School
LSAT Score: 177

Picture
Mike loves life, donuts, and the pursuit of higher LSAT scores. He graduated from UC Berkeley and is a current law student at Northwestern University. He's played poker professionally, taught and tutored for almost a decade, and is a terrible cook, despite any claims to the contrary.

Mike scored a 177 on the LSAT, and is committed to giving you guilt-inducing disappointed looks until you accept his help in learning LSAT Sensei’s entertaining but rigorous methods for learning and executing a great LSAT.

Duong N
Northwestern Law School
LSAT Score: 171

Picture
Duong is a homegrown Chicagoan who believes that anyone who works hard enough can get into the law school of their choice. After graduating from Northwestern, he took the LSAT, scoring 171. He is a student at Northwestern Law.

Duong is always in pursuit of self-improvement, something embedded in the lessons of LSAT Sensei. He is prepared to throw down at any philosophical discussion. He works out constantly, ready for the looming zombie apocalypse. Also he is learning to code (Javascript).

His mantra is "Be unstoppable".
